At Hope for Youth, we believe that every young person deserves guidance and support on their journey to success through Christ-centered mentorship. Our programs connect youth with caring, experienced mentors who embody Christian values and provide personalized advice, encouragement, and real-world wisdom.
Together, we’re fostering self-confidence, leadership, and lifelong skills rooted in faith that empower youth to thrive in every aspect of life.
How It Works?
The Mentorship program is, in many ways, the core of HFY’s programming, centering around creating deep and lasting, one-on-one relationships between our most committed youth and volunteers.
Topics for this program include studies on the biblical view of family dynamics, gender roles, and Christ-centered relationships – all in an effort to prepare our youth for a satisfying and successful walk with Christ. Additionally, mentors get to know their youth well enough to help them address academic and social issues as well.
This program uses large-group, small-group, and one-on-one time to build the relationships necessary for lasting change. Taking place Monday through Wednesday, HFY students meet with dedicated volunteers for after-school tutoring, discipleship, dinner, and mentor-parent partnership. Educational and character-building field trips are offered during the last week of each month.
